Team Fortress 2 Night!

The last few Team Fortress 2 nights that we had seemed to be rousing successes, so how about another during the week of Feb. 6?  For those who are interested, what days would you prefer?  Respond to the poll and/or post here your preferences.  We will set up a specific night and start time.  If there is insufficient interest, we will try again another week.

For those who have not done this before:

We will pick a TF2 server and invade it with Cats!  If you do not know what TF2 is, you should!  We will have people on throughout the evening, coming and going.  Mumble will be in use if you want to trash talk or coordinate attacks.

I will blow you all up with my rocket launcher. Failing that, I will use my Somewhat Threatening Equalizer, unless I've worked it up to Uncharitable. Or maybe this calls for some Mantreads. And that's why they call it a zoo!

So!  It looks like Monday is a popular night for TF2!  Anyone is welcome.  I should be on-line around 7:30 PM Easterm and I expect that the Westies will be there afterwards.  I'll be on Mumble and I will try to post in this thread the name of the server.

If you don't already have the game (whaaaaaat?) Team Fortress 2 is free to download and play and available through Steam. It's a first person shooter, but with a lot of personality and a gentle learning curve.

We usually find an empty server and swarm it. Best bet to find us would be to log on Mumble and ask what server folks are on, or look for Cats playing TF2 in our Steam group (you ARE a member of the Steam group, right?) and select the "Join game" option in the menu thingy.

I'll be on around 7pm PST.

I've found little more rewarding in any video game than following Gab, Liore &Co as a medic and waiting to hit "invulnerable" on one of them just before they jump off the buliding/run into the 1,000 engineers' guns/spraypaint the walls with the [insert Red/Blue] team.
